Brain Farts And A Fact Or Two

A cable news show's host posed a question to guests asking if they thought the murders at Ft. Hood, Tx. army post could have been avoided were it not for political correctness.

It was brought out that so many in government are afraid of looking like a bigot if they criticize Islam or that they may be labeled an "Islamophobe".

Now I'm a homophobic Islamophobe. Marvelous...

John Allen Muhammad was executed as scheduled last night in Virginia. Virginia hams and pork sandwiches for everyone! You hearin' me Allah? You putz!

There's nothing more irritating than a true southern redneck that takes pride in being a true southern redneck. Big belt buckles, big dogs, big trucks and butt ugly women seem go with the label. God bless 'em.

The strongest hurricanes come from Pat O'Brien's in New Orleans. Not the Gulf of Messicans!

In closing, let me add that in life everybody is a winner. Oh fuck me! You honestly think I believe that feelgood bullshit?!

Have a great day, and don't choke on your vomit as you ride the roller coaster called love.

Political Correctness must die!!!

I'm with you, I have had it up to my red neck with political correctness. It's time to get tough and call 'em like we see 'em. Here's one that really bugs me, the next time you read something about "the homeless", insert one of these terms: bums, hobos or derelicts.

"PC" is an acronym for pansy crap.

Political Correctness must die!!! Amen on that one.

Have a terrific day Don. :)

PC and I parted ways a long time ago. For example, did you know you can't say Merry Christmas any more for fear of offending some religious groups (and presumably some non-religious groups). Yep, now you've got to limit yourself to wishing people "happy holidays". I wonder what Hallmark did with all those cards?

Moooooo35: Aw come on Rod...cheat brother, cheat!

Don said...

thinkinfyou: Actually, politeness has a small place in my life, but political correctness never has nor will it ever!

Me-Me King: Funny you should bring up homeless folks. I noticed earlier today that with the holidays quickly coming into play that the sign wielding "homeless" are infiltrating parking lots within a quarter of a mile of America's store.

Deb: Yep. Even that is too mild to say.

Don said...

Sandee: Totally. It has in my life. Unfortunately, too many others feed off of it to make themselves "feel" better about themselves. Losers...

Don said...

nonamedufus: That's a good point about the old Hallmark Christmas cards. Hmmm, may have to look into that and get some really cheap! Thanks.

I remember hearing something similar after the last space shuttle incident. People are AFRAID to speak up when something is wrong?

Sheesh. Last time I checked it was still a free country.

Don said...

ReformingGeek: Well, I may have done some things wrong, but I'll be damn if I'm keeping my mouth shut when I feel the urge to speak. No matter what I say or how I say it, it's all me.

Tattoo Jim: I know Jim. What a bunch of pansies we have become. I'll never subscribe to all of that bullshit!

political correctness is itself a contradiction in terms because there is nothing corrects about politics.

I blame it on that Family Guy show, the cause of all society's ills.
